Project Overview

Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), a prominent global environmental NGO, has a substantial remote and hybrid workforce on an international scale. EDF enlisted the help of KGO to enhance its existing hybrid working program and create a new workplace strategy to meet employees’ diverse work habits. KGO also provided a comprehensive change management to support the new initiatives.

Approach and Successful Results:

  • KGO developed a robust approach to research, utilizing our algorithmic and machine learning tools, to support efficient and effective decision-making for EDF leaders, backed with data.
  • KGO created a hybrid work strategy with recommendations of new hybrid working norms to implement, guidance and tools to support EDF employees.
  • We developed a change management strategy that outlined guidance to motivate, facilitate, and communicate with employees across regions. We created a new workplace strategy along with planning tools such as VR environments, design guidance, predictive analytics tools to inform occupancy and utilization. KGO identified organizational goals and drivers, and how the future physical office could support the mission of EDF.
  • KGO partnered with EDF on the change management and roll out of the hybrid work and workplace strategy initiatives.
